Full-bodied mature syrah from Great Southern which confusingly is in Western Australia. This is made by Robert Oatley one of the country's most prolific family-owned wineries. This would be good with roast shoulder of pork especially if there's some spices involved.
Raspberries and cooked strawberry, cinnamon, cloves, and some sweet vanilla notes on the finish and supple melting tannins.
