Rich and robust red wine from the Rall winery in the Swartland region of South Africa. This 2019 vintage is built from a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Cinsault grapes with whole bunch fermentation ensuring an exquisite balance of fruit and spice. The wine is treated to 12 months maturing in French oak before bottling, with a further 12 months resting in the bottle before being released for sale. With plenty of dark fruity depth, this will go very well with roasted vegetables and red meat dishes.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Dark plums, forest fruits, a prickle of pepper with a grounding of tobacco, and rich oak beneath the lingering layers of berries.
