Niepoort Dão Rótulo 2016
It's the 2016 vintage of the wonderufl Dão Rótulo from Portugal's Niepoort winery! It's made with a blend of hand-picked Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Tinta Pinheira and Alfrocheiro grapes, harvested from vines between 30 and 80 years old. The granite soils make for a slightly mineral-forward wine. It's rather versatile with food, and the folks at the winery recommend pairing it with baked cod or stewed red meats.

Forest fruits at the fore, with red flowers, balsamic-glazed berries and a savoury mineral touch.
