Marco Abella Olbieta Blanc 2020
Superb 2020 vintage Catalan white wine from the Marco Abella winery, produced from a blend of Garnatxa Blanca and Macabeu grape varieties. Grapes are harvested in small batches from various plots, and fermented separately, before resting in steel vats,to preserve the vibrant fruit character. Crisp fruits, citrus zest and a touch of salty minerality mean this ought to go very nicely with sushi and seafood dishes.

Orchard fruits lead with crisp apple and pear, floral honey, and sweet, zesty lemon balm. A touch of melon beneath, with soft salinity and herbal minerality.
