Description

Burly red alert! If you like 'em burly, you're in the right place. This comes from Puglia, right in the south of Italy where it gets hot. The grape here is Primitivo aka Zinfandel, which thrives in the baking heat producing big wines with surprising elegance. In a word: magnifico!

Overall

Big ripe dark fruit, think black cherries, plums and blueberries. Big rich soft texture with dark chocolate on the finish.
