A trio of grapes harvested from vines ageing between 22 and 69 years old make up this wine, with Carignan, Syrah and Grenache Noir making up the flavour profile. It was aged for 22 months in a combination of steel tanks, wooden vats and smaller demi-muids before bottling. Touches of smoke among the red fruits mean this ought to go very well with grilled dishes.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
A suggestion of smoke, with juicy raspberry and black cherry alongside flinty stone notes and anise.
