The albariño grape is the speciality of Northern Spain. Over the border in Portugal it's known as alvarinho. Though some might make a case for Picpoul de Pinet, or Muscadet from France, there's probably no better wine with seafood than albariño. This example from Bodegas Laureatus has all the zippy citrus and stone fruit you could want but it's supported by a creamy texture, which has been accentuated by a little time in the bottle.
Zippy lime and lemon acidity, and a lemon peel note with a creamy almond finish.
