Excellent quality chardonnay here from Larry Cherubino in Pemberton in Western Australia. It spends two years in a mixture of new and used French oak barrels before bottlings, adding spice and texture to a superfresh white wine. We think this would be splendid with langoustines with garlic mayonnaise.
Lemon, white peach and apple fruit with sweet spice, vanilla and a toasty finish. Rich and zingy.
