Pinotage is South Africa's own grape, a cross between cinsault (also known as hermitage) and pinot noir. Voila - pinotage! Here it makes a full-flavoured rich wine that would be excellent with grilled meat, sausages or richer vegetarian dishes.
Ripe plummy fruit, dark spice, vanilla and a smoky finish.
