Established in the 1990s by Frank Grace, Il Molino di Grace Winery was founded on a straightforward mission: to encapsulate the true essence of the rugged terrain and distinctive sangiovese grapes that the scenic hills of Chianti are known for. The winery's leadership under Frank Grace and his sons, Tim & Daniel, has successfully melded modern organic winemaking techniques with the rich traditions of traditional viticulture. Gran Selezione wines are only made in this best years and a are a selection of the finest barrels. Decant just before serving and drink it with something simple and meaty.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
From the glass, one is greeted with earthy scents of leather, freshly tilled soil, blue flowers, ripe black fruits, and a hint of balsamic. The robust palate presents flavors of spiced plum, mature black cherry, menthol, vanilla, mocha, and seamlessly blended oak, complemented by vibrantly bold tannins.
