Grosset Springvale Watervale Riesling 2011
Springvale covers just 6 hectares within the larger Watervale area of Clare Valley in South Australia. The Clare Valley makes some of the best dry Riesling in the world and Grosset is up there with the best, capable of making intense wines with great aging potential.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Riesling is an incredibly aromatic variety and this wine uses its full potential. Intense lemon and grapefruit notes with aromatic, slightly grassy flavours. Crisp acidity and dry, the palate is slightly oily with a slate-like mineral character and the finish long and complex.
