Impressive Italian Barolo from Ettore Germano, produced with the 2018 harvest of Nebbiolo grapes, grown around the region of Serralunga d’Alba. After fermentation, the wine is filled into an array of oak barrels of various ages and capacities where it rests for 18-24 months, followed by a further six months ageing in the bottle before release. If you're preparing a hearty salad or pasta dish, this ought to be an ideal accompaniment.
