A splendidly robust red wine from Australia, it's the 2017 vintage of Charles Melton's exquisite Nine Popes! Combining Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre grapes, this wine takes inspiration from the tremendous French wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and will be a marvellous one to enjoy on a special occasion.

Overall

Chewy dark fruits, juicy berries, and plums, a prickle of pepper and aromatic fennel with touches of tangy oak and flint.
