
From Argentina's Cara Sur comes the 2019 vintage Tinto! It's made entirely from Bonarda grapes harvested from vines over 50 years old, grown 1,500 metres above sea level. It's an unusual, chewy wine, with rich, meaty notes giving way to more delicates herbs and florals. Big ol' hill on the label, too. Pleasing.
Chewy savoury notes lead the way, followed by dried herbs, dark chocolate, strawberry and redcurrant, and prickle of spice.
