A light, fruity Argentinian red here from Cara Sur! This 2018 vintage is made with the Criolla grape (also known as the Mission grape) harvested from 80 year old organic vines. The result is a light and vibrantly acidic wine that complements roasted meats very well.
Fun fact: the Criolla grape was originally brought to Argentina in the 16th century by Spanish priests to produce communion wine! Great booze and dinner party facts, that's what we're here for.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
A bright acidity, ripe summer berries, along with rose petal, orange peel and touches of cooked plum.
