A spectacular Italian red wine here from Caparzo. Made with Sangiovese grapes, and having spent a good long time in oak, the 2016 Brunello di Montalcino is most impressive indeed, boasting a big, bold, complex flavour profile. It'll cellar well, and ought to pair wonderfully with rich, meaty dishes.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Dense red fruit with highlight of bright cherry, balanced by baked earth and toasty oak lending a savoury edge.
