It's another wonderful vintage of the Red blend from the Badenhorst Family Secateurs series! For this 2018 vintage the amount of Cinsault has been bumped up to 82%, with Shiraz and Grenache in support. Aged for seven months in a combination of foudres and concrete tanks, the oak influence is minimal, allowing the fruit to shine through.
Gentle peppery spice, with fragrant ripe red fruit at the fore, namely raspberry, alongside touches of chocolate.
