Catalonian red wine from the Priorat region, produced at the Álvaro Palacios winery. Using grapes grown in eight different local municipalities – all of which have different soils and vines, each producing fruit with a unique character. Following fermentation, the wine is matured in barrels and wooden vats for four to six months before bottling. Fabulously rich and versatile, this would go very nicely with roast meat and game dishes.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Dark, juicy, ripe fruits, cherries, and blackberries with spicy, earthy tobacco and liquorice notes.
