The Allegrini family have been making wine in northern Italy since 1983 but have been farming grapes for generations. The family's wines are recognised as some of the best in the region. This Valpolicella is made from a blend of corvina and corvione grapes. It was fermented and aged in stainless steel before bottling to preserve fresh fruit aromas. This would be great with all kinds of meaty pasta dishes or anything with tomatoes involved. Comes in a half bottle.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Red cherries and spice, light and juicy, with some warm spicy notes. Refreshing bittersweet finish.
