Originating from an ideal hillside location with views of Lake Garda, this vineyard that belong to the Allegrini family yields small quantities of intensely concentrated ripe fruit. After aging in wood for 16 months, this rich Italian blend, consisting of 80% corvina and 20% oseleta, is ripe and rich. Just the thing with heavy meaty food like a nice rump steak. It's well worth decanting an hour or two before serving to let it open up. While delicious now, this will mature for at least ten years if stored carefully.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
This wine features aromas of wild berries and juniper, alongside notes of tobacco and coffee. On the palate, it's rich and robust, brimming with flavors of wild cherry and smooth tannins.
