Northern Italian wine producers, Allegrini, are recognised as some of the best in the region. This 2019 vintage Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is made from a blend of corvina, oseleta, and rondinella grapes which were dried to concentrate the flavours and sugar before fermentation. Deliciously rich and full bodied but totally dry, this wine will stand up just as well to rich, meaty foods.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Dark chocolate, cherries, raspberries, and leather with powerful aromatic spices and ripe full tannins. Massively long and complex.
