A fabulous Irish blend of 70% single malt whiskey and 30% single pot still whiskey. After being triple distilled, the Irishman Founder's Reserve is aged in bourbon casks. Bernard Walsh, you should be proud!

My hubby and I brought one these bottles back from our honeymoon. I am just getting into good whiskey and have used this as a good beginner whiskey. It was billed to us as "The Breakfast Whiskey" because of the sweet nose (Syrup and fruit) and its incredibly smoothness. It has helped me edge into more robust whiskeys more easily. Great with a full Irish Breakfast for sure. I would highly recommend as a solid flavorful (but not flavored) whiskey.
We often get $7 off in Virginia, which takes the price down to $23/750ml. Very smooth and definitely better than Jameson. Give it a try for an inexpensive everyday whiskey as you can't do better for $30.
Not something I would personally drink. Recommend drinking without consuming anything else, as the flavours seem too subtle. It is a very balanced whisky and silky whisky, but doesn't deliver the wow effect. Great starter whisky, and I can imagine others loving this. Just a no-go if you mainly drink Islays.
Longest finish ever. Spicy and yards of fruit to end. Very smooth. Most interesting flavour. Priced right for an excellent dram.
