Writers Tears Copper Pot Irish Whiskey

Writers Tears is a light, sweet Irish whiskey made using a mix of single pot still and single malt whiskeys, resulting in oodles of honeyed, fruity notes. Wonderfully easy to drink, it would make for a great introduction to Irish whiskey for folks new to the spirit. (No writers were harmed in the making of this whiskey.)

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Soft and sweet with thick honey spread on granary toast. Hints of citrus peels.

    Palate

Honey develops on the palate. Mellow notes of vanilla and golden malt. Green apple skin, caramel and a hint of oak.

    Finish

    Warming, sweet and long.

    Overall

    Very yummy Irish whiskey indeed.

    Well worth the price

The taste explodes on your tongue and then quickly settles into a mellow, buttery, wonderful whiskey. Extremely drinkable.

Give it a try, you'll be grateful you did.

Very nice whiskey indeed. Tried with friends and it was unanimous just how good it was. Very well priced indeed.

    First rate

First time drinking this whiskey. Very surprised how good it was. Will drink again that is truly the test

    Easy Drinking

A delicious whiskey, smooth but full-bodied. Wonderful finish. If only it would be more readily available in the US.

John Mason Budd Aug 20, 2019

    Very morish

Love this whiskey... as an Irishman I hate when people say smooth about whiskies in general. It's so easy to say that, dig deeper and explore more. Irish Whiskey is on the rise again
