The Quiet Man 8 Year Old - Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish
A sherry cask-finished variation of The Quiet Man 8 Year Old single malt Irish whiskey. It was initially matured in casks that held bourbon, before being moved over to a single oloroso sherry cask. Only 950 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Raisins, stewed plums and old oak furniture.
Palate
Rich red wine sweetness, with underlying chewy toffee and white chocolate.
Finish
A hint of clove and caraway.
