The Irishman Single Malt Irish Whiskey comes, surprisingly, from Ireland. It's a triple distilled expression which is aged in both sherry and bourbon casks for over 10 years before bottling.
Light and fruity on the nose. A little hint of liquorice pops up, as does crumbly vanilla fudge.
A classic pudding of peaches and cream with a sprinkling of crushed up biscuits and almonds.
Fairly long, with oak cropping up near the end.
Superb! A cracking Irish whiskey.

I love that this tastes like whiskey and three different kinds of spirits. Very smooth. Very drinkable. Nothing to complicated. Whiskey snobs probably would disagree. Purists will want more.
I love it!!
First sip: is this Irish? Let it slip over the back of the tongue: Oh yes this is Good Irish with a hint of sweetness perhaps from the Bourbon cask maturation. Forget the liquorice, vanilla fudge, biscuits and almonds bollix. This is great whiskey. Go out and buy some now. HC.
The bottle looks fancy and their 70/30 blend should be good in theory but to my pallet it tastes only slightly better than much cheaper Teachers scotch. You're better off getting a bottle of Powers Gold Label in the same price range.
