Description

Douglas Laing presents a distinguished limited edition of The Epicurean Lowland blended malt Scotch whisky, matured in a trio of cask varieties. New oak casks bring bold spice, cushioned by bourbon cask vanilla and honey sweetness, while sherry casks offer up rich, fruity depth. Whether it's cocktail hour or time for some neat sipping, this chap offers up plenty of characterful depth and versatility.

Nose

Vibrant notes of vanilla and citrus, toasted nuts, stewed, honeyed fruit, dusted with spices, and balanced oak char.

Palate

Cakey spices and oaken vanilla open the way for cooked apples and syrupy sherried fruit.

Finish

Warming, woody spices, sweet baking spice, creamy toffee, hedgerow fruit crumble, and gently drying oak.
