The whisky itself was crafted exclusively with single malts from Lowland distilleries, which was filled into a pair of Cognac casks for a finishing period before being bottled at 48% ABV. The fragrant, fruit-forward whisky seems to be a perfect match for Cognac casks, because this one is impressive indeed.
