Retribution - New American Oak (PR005) 70cl Whisky

The fifth whisky release from Somerset’s Retribution Distilling, made with Maris Otter barley malted at Warminster and fermented for between seven and 14 days with a combination of distilling and English ale yeast. The spirit was distilled in May 2023 using direct-fired copper pot stills.

It spent three years in a new 200-litre American oak cask with a level-three char, before being bottled in June 2026. The 300-bottle batch was split between 50 bottles at cask strength, 62.9% ABV, and 250 bottles at the distillery’s preferred 52% ABV.
