Port Dundas "Cheers To Better Days" 15 Year Old 2006 (cask 15316) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)

A 15 year old single grain Scotch whisky from the Port Dundas Distillery, independently bottled by Douglas Laing. It's a 15 year old expression, matured in a single refill butt cask from March 2006 to August 2021, before being bottled up at 48.4% ABV with an outturn of 356 bottles. The label has been emblazoned with the optimistic phrase "Cheers to better days".

Nose

Buttery and sweet with vanilla and brown sugar, alongside a zesty kick of citrus.

Palate

Maple syrup on pancakes, cereal and milk, gingerbread.

Finish

More ginger, more citrus, more vanilla!
