Signatory's Un-Chillfiltered Collection is always popular and this Mortlach single malt Scotch whisky should prove no different. The vintage 2008 dram was matured in four bourbon hogshead casks (302169, 302184, 302188, and 302240) before it was bottled in March 2023 with no additional colour at 46% ABV.
Banoffee pie, black pepper, dark fruit, and rich biscuity aromas.
Malty and spicy and just a little meaty with sweet and sharp apple notes in support.
Long and dry.

This is a very pleasant fresh fruity whisky. On the nose, stewed apples, pears, marmalade, barley sugar and creamy vanilla. Taste wise, sweet green apples, pears with a good oily mouth feel. The finish is relatively short but this is a good easy sipper, which I would happily recommend.
