Miltonduff 34yo 1982 Bottling Note

Very well-aged Miltonduff single malt here, bottled by Hunter Laing for the Old & Rare Platinum range. This was distilled in June 1982, matured in a refill hogshead cask and bottled 34 years later in June 2016 at 50.8% ABV. A small release of only 196 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Brown sugar and honey (with a hint of beeswax too). A bit buttery.

Palate: Melon and marmalade give it a fruity start, followed by notes of chocolate, tobacco and ginger.

Finish: Very long. Spiced with a developing element of orange oil.
