Splendid single malt from Miltonduff, distilled in 2008 and matured for 14 years in a single barrel. That barrel was prized open by the gang at Wemyss Malts, independently releasing a total of 279 bottles.
Peach and apricot with dustings of vanilla sugar, and candied almonds in tow.
Silky honey and toasted marzipan are joined by waves of vanilla fudge, cinnamon biscuits, and creamy malt.
Cakey spice lingers, with soft fruits, more oaken vanilla, and candied nuts.
