Inchmurrin 23 Year Old 1993 (cask 2856) - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory)
A Cask Strength Collection bottling of 23 year old single malt from the Loch Lomond distillery, released under their Inchmurrin name. This was distilled back in May 1993 and left to age in a single hogshead cask until May 2017, when Signatory came along to bottle it up with an outturn of 254 bottles. Loch Lomond have an adaptable set-up, meaning that they can create a variety of whisky styles, which are presented under a variety of names.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy, vanilla-y malt with a helping of orange and mango at the core.
Palate
Stem ginger, earthy mint leaf, another whack of vanilla-rich malt.
Finish
Caramelised fruit followed by a sprinkle of sea salt.
