Another treat from the Douglas Laing Provenance range, this time distilled by Inchgower in November 2007. After a decade of maturation in a single refill hogshead, it was bottled in May 2018 with an outturn of just 385 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Orange, pear and peach, with a hint of oily barley developing.
Palate
Caramel and honey carried on a creamy mouth feel. Subtle smoke and cooking spice.
Finish
Heavy vanilla and pear drops.
