This is an independently bottled Glenrothes, matured in a single butt cask from 1988 to 2015, and was then bottled by Wemyss Malts. They've given it a name based on its flavour profile and inspired by the wonderful dessert, the Rum Baba! 388 bottles were produced.
Nose: Walnut loaf, brown sugar, poached apples and hot cross buns.
Palate: Chocolate cake with orange sauce, toasty oak staves, clove and cinnamon.
Finish: Honey'd barley and milk chocolate buttons.
