    Single Malt

Glen Grant 28 Year Old 1994 - Old & Rare Platinum (Hunter Laing)

Impressive single malt from Glen Grant, matured for 28 years in a single cask between 1994 and 2002. When the time came for bottling, the team at indie bottler Hunter Laing were ready for the task, releasing a total of 179 bottles for the Old & Rare Platinum collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Oily oak with creamy butterscotch and earthen vanilla pod develop into nutty malt with hints of summer berries.

    Palate

Bold, nutty barley opens things up, with sweet, biscuity malt. Stewed orchard fruits mellow in the midst of delicate spice and a touch of citrus zest.

    Finish

Things tail off sweetly with silky toffee and vanilla nestling amongst chocolate coffee beans and green walnuts.
