Hunter Laing

Hunter Laing & Co Ltd. is a third-generation family-owned Scotch whisky company based in Glasgow, Scotland, led by Andrew and Scott Laing.

It was founded in 2013 by their father, the late Stewart Laing, and builds on a family heritage in Scotch whisky that dates back to the 1940s. For three generations, the Laing family has been sourcing, maturing and bottling Scotch whisky, turning decades of expertise into award-winning independent bottling ranges including Old Malt Cask, Old & Rare, The First Editions and Hepburn's Choice. The portfolio also includes The Sovereign, Scarabus and the Journey Series.

Hunter Laing bottles whisky from some of Scotland's finest distilleries, with a focus on single casks and small-batch releases. The company prides itself on showcasing the character of individual distilleries and exceptional barrels.

In 2019, the Laing family's long-held ambition of becoming distillers became a reality with the opening of Ardnahoe Distillery on Islay. Today, Hunter Laing combines its renowned independent bottling business with whisky production at Ardnahoe.
