Bourbon
Independently bottled Glen Grant single malt, aged for 21 years and drawn from a trio of bourbon barrels. It was distilled in May 1995 and bottled in May 2016 by the superb Signatory.
Almond cookies, toasted oak staves, some thyme honey and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
Big, juicy notes of cooked apple and plum, covered in syrup (with another dusting of nutmeg!).
Becomes drying with mixed nuts and citrus peels.
