Fleurieu 3 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)

Behold, the first Fleurieu single malt whisky to be bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company, release as part of its Australian Series! Produced on the Fleurieu Peninsula (hence the distillery's name), this is a 3 year old single malt with a deliciously sherried flavour profile. The label references a very dramatic occurrence at the distillery, which is in an old train shed, with train tracks leading through one of the sheds – though the line is mostly disused, steam train enthusiasts have been known to use it, and one time a train lost control and drove right through the distillery's doors! Batch 1 is a release of 260 bottles. ‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
