The Old Malt Cask series from Hunter Laing is celebrating its 25th anniversary with 25 releases from across Scotland’s signature whisky-producing regions. This one is from Highlander Fettercairn, a single malt aged in a wine cask for 15 years, yielding a total outturn of 314 bottles.
Milk chocolate, raspberries, and vanilla.
Apples, peaches, and lemon zest.
Long, with lingering spice.
