Clan Denny is a superb range from Douglas Laing, made up of delicious blended malt whiskies. The Islay edition is made with seven Islay malts including Bowmore, Caol Ila, Bunnahabhain, Bruichladdich and Ardbeg!
Rooty, earthy aromas with soft smoke, barley malt and sticking plasters. Oily and peaty, with some toffee sweetness.
Notes of caramel to the core, with barrage of mixed fruits and peat smoke. A touch of iodine, butterscotch, barley malt and ginger spice.
Spiced, smoky finish. Faintly salty on the tail.
