Sherried Deanston single malt, bottled for the Cask Strength Collection by Signatory. This 11 year old whisky was distilled in August 2006 and left to mature in a first-fill sherry butt until March 2018, with it was bottled with an outturn of 640 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Treacle tarts, raspberries and plenty of honey in the background.
Palate
Buttered teacakes, blackcurrant and apple juice, spicy malt and clove-studded orange.
Finish
Slightly herbaceous on the finish, with black pepper and thyme creeping out underneath layers of red fruit.
