Single Malt
Sherried Deanston single malt, bottled for the Cask Strength Collection by Signatory. This 11 year old whisky was distilled in August 2006 and left to mature in a first-fill sherry butt until March 2018, with it was bottled with an outturn of 640 bottles.
Treacle tarts, raspberries and plenty of honey in the background.
Buttered teacakes, blackcurrant and apple juice, spicy malt and clove-studded orange.
Slightly herbaceous on the finish, with black pepper and thyme creeping out underneath layers of red fruit.
Stunning. Deep rich sherry Carmel nose, followed by a stunning sherry bomb palate. Ending in mint sorrel and camphor. Recommend!
This is stunning. One of the best Signatory cask strength collections I have tried. A thick rich creamy sherried palate, with a wonderful minthy thyme end. Totally recommend. Please get some more MOM!
