Caol Ila 8 Year Old 2014 - Obscurities & Curiosities (North Star Spirits)
Distilled at Caol Ila in July 2014, this eight-year-old Islay single malt was aged in a small sherry octave cask before North Star Spirits bottled it in March 2023. It's bottled at 54.5% ABV without chill filtration or added colour, only 80 bottles were released for the Obscurities & Curiosities range.

Nose
Barbecued meat, walnuts, sherry, sea brine, peat embers, and leather.
Palate
Rich sherry, dried fruit, ginger, nutmeg, paprika, molasses, charred marshmallow, oak, and cola cubes.
Finish
Polished leather, dried fruit, sherry, salt, and refined smoke.
