The Blinking Owl Distillery over in California makes its Four Grain Bourbon using... Well, four different grains. Ok, the big surprise was kind of hinted at from the name, but still. Four grains! The grains in question are corn, rye, wheat, and barley, all of which are organic and from California. It's then aged in new white oak American casks, and eventually bottled up at 45% ABV.
Vanilla ice cream, orange and ginger biscuits, some spicy oak.
Still jam-packed with vanilla, now with toffee and buttered corn in support.
A crackle of rye spice remains.

It's fine. But there are many other bourbons that are around the same price or less that I'd spend the money on. I ended up using it for cocktails.
just had my first pour of it and rather liked it. My taste preferences skew toward wheated bourbons bout I thought this was delightful. Would definitely consider adding it to my bar.
Nice and smooth, a pleasant start of my advent calendar dram
The most disappointing bottle of the 3 dozen I have purchased. I have never opened a bottle before that was not good enough to finish. This will be poured down the sink. It initially tastes nutty with a follow on of off somthing like coriander or Benalin cough syrup. On my bottle it stated aged 2 years on the back so whilst I’m a bourbon drinker and not an expert I thought it needed to be four yours old to be classed as bourbon avoid this one it’s horrible.
