Blair Athol 18yo 1998 Bottling Note

18 year old single malt from the Blair Athol distillery, drawn from a single butt cask which was filled in May 1998 and cracked open in March 2017. This was independently bottled by the fine folks of Douglas Laing for their Old Particular range, producing just 293 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Juicy plum, spiced oak and a touch of filo pastry.

Palate: Fruity gummy sweets, ginger ale, orange zest and a very light mineral note.

Finish: Waxy peels and woody pepper.
