Crater Lake Rye Whiskey

Sorry about this...

We can't actually ship Crater Lake Rye Whiskey to the United States at the moment (although we're working hard to fix that).

In the meantime, our friends over at The Whisky Shop might be able to help you out.

Thank you for your support and understanding 🙂

Crater Lake Rye Whiskey Bottling Note

Spicy, creamy rye here from Bendistillery's Crater Lake range. They use a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% barley to create this spirit, and bring it down to bottling strength with Cascade Mountain water.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: White pepper and new oak. A few hints of caramel sweetness develop after a few minutes in the glass.

Palate: Vanilla is more pronounced on the palate, though the spiciness of the rye persists.

Finish: A touch of plum appears on the finish.

Crater Lake Rye Whiskey Reviews

Not for those unaccustomed to rye

Although not so accustomed to rye, i have had rye whiskeys in the past that were good. Didnt like this one. Medicinal quality that somehow also seemed watered down. Very dry tasting, more herbal than vanilla as previous description leads to believe. Definite rye taste.
