Hailing from Kentucky's legendary Buffalo Trace distillery, this batch of Sazerac Straight Rye was picked by us, drawn from a single cask and bottled at 100 proof (aka 50% ABV) exclusively for us at Master of Malt, and you – our fine whiskey-drinking customers!

Nose

Burnt brown sugar, honeyed rye bread, and cacao, backed by soft notes of peach and apricot, sweet popcorn, and a touch of leather.

Palate

Soft stone fruits dusted with icing sugar, toasted cereal, and oaken vanilla support balanced rye spice, with mellow waves of citrus and darker berries.

Finish

Dark, juicy berries and herbaceous spice, caramelised nuts, vanilla, with balanced ginger and nutmeg warmth.
