Description

English winery Chapel Down don't simply make wine and then call it good - they've got their fingers in many pies. They've made their own beer , cider, brandy, gin and even vodka - as you can see right here! They make this tipple using distilled skins from their own Chardonnay grapes. Very clever stuff.

Nose

The nose of Chapel Down Chardonnay Vodka is elegant and refined, with delicate aromas of ripe fruit, particularly green apple and pear. There’s a subtle hint of buttery richness, reminiscent of chardonnay, alongside light floral notes that add depth.

Palate

On the palate, the vodka is smooth and creamy, with a slight sweetness from the fruit notes. The chardonnay influence comes through with a soft, buttery texture, balanced by crisp acidity that gives the vodka a refreshing quality. The flavours are well-rounded, with a clean, clean character.

Finish

The finish is long and smooth, with lingering notes of fresh fruit and a slight minerality that echoes the wine’s origin. The clean, refreshing aftertaste leaves a soft warmth and a subtle hint of oak, creating a harmonious end to the tasting experience.

Smoooooth

A lovely smooth vodka, mixes well but also a joy to drink neat.

Christine York Jan 5, 2023

Nice drop of juice . Doesn't leave you with a thick head the next day either

Very smooth

Gary Mar 17, 2022

High quality vodka

Slightly fruity aftertaste means you don't necessarily want this in a Bloody Mary - that would be a waste of this lovely vodka, best neat from the freezer. Absolutely gorgeous bottle makes this a very attracted purchase.
