The Wild Rosé Vermouth from the Regal Rogue range is a fruit-forwards expression, featuring native Australian Illawarra plums, strawberry gum and rosella, giving notes of red fruit and earthy anise. "Fearlessly Handcrafted" as the bottle suggests, and it also features a rather valiant-looking knight on the label.
I just love this in a martini. Gin, wild rose vermouth and a mist of lemon. Serve with a twist of lemon. Perfection in a glass. I have also served with a dehydrated lemon slice which infuses as you drink.
Wow! Bartenders ketchup! Amazing in long, spritz style drinks but also amazing as a modifier. I made a twist on a paloma with mescal and it was just awesome
Not tried anything like this before - delicious rose base with loads of added fruity notes, has been going down very well with tonic! 100% would recommend
this is the best one of the regal rogue range if you love a lovely organic alternative to a wine. it's full of lovely wine notes and 'native' australian fruits. this is a really lovely idea for a wine aperitif.
I'm not sure I've ever come across a rose vermouth before. This was bought as part of a promo in a spritz pack with FeverTree lemonade. It's beautiful! Full of fruit and packed with a host of lighter summer flavours than I'm used to in vermouths. It's also a great modifier in cocktails and works with Mezcal, Bourbon, Gin, Vodka and even lighter whiskies. WOW!
