Lillet Blanc

Lillet Blanc is one of the classic wine-based aperitifs, and is great sipped as is, or mixed in cocktails. This is produced in Bordeaux and is made with white wines from the region, as well as fruit, brandy, herbs and spices. The blend is then aged in oak for about 6 to 12 months.

Lillet Blanc has a delicately sweet taste with hints of citrus and floral aromas. It is best served chilled and over ice.

A really great mixer
Yet to try it on it's own with Ice or tonic water, I generally love it in a Vesper Martini, but have recently Discovered love in a Robb Roy with this and Black and White Blended Whiskey.

Subtle!
I'm a late-comer to Lillet but I'm glad I made it! Very subtle taste and I've been using it in cocktails, to great acclaim from the audience.

Best for Martinis
Liking a Martini I've tried a number of different vermouths and think this is far and away the best - doesn't add flavour you don't want and has a good shelf life so still tastes good a long time after opening.
